چکیده
This paper relates experiences of algorithmic transformations in High Level Synthesis, in the area of acoustic echo cancellation. The processing and memory units are automatically designed for various equivalent LMS algorithms, in the FIR case, with important computational load. The results obtained with di erent lter lengths, give an accurate prototyping of new fast versions of the LMS algorithm. It also show that a theoretical arithmetic reduction must be correlated to the associated increase of memory requirements.

Fast Exact Adaptive Algorithms for Feedforward Active NoiseControlDavid
{ The fast exact least-mean-square (LMS) algorithm is a computationally-eecient method for computing the outputs and updates for an adaptive LMS nite-impulse-response (FIR) lter. In this paper, we extend this method to several useful algorithms for feedforward active noise control: the ltered-X LMS, modiied ltered-X LMS, eecient modiied ltered-X LMS, periodic ltered-X LMS, and sequential ltered...
متن کاملMultichannel recursive-least-square algorithms and fast-transversal-filter algorithms for active noise control and sound reproduction systems
In the last ten years, there has been much research on active noise control (ANC) systems and transaural sound reproduction (TSR) systems. In those fields, multichannel FIR adaptive filters are extensively used. For the learning of FIR adaptive filters, recursive-least-squares (RLS) algorithms are known to produce a faster convergence speed than stochastic gradient descent techniques, such as t...
متن کاملEfficient VLSI Architecture for Variable Length Block LMS Adaptive Filter
In this paper, we made an analysis on computational complexity of block least mean square (BLMS) finite impulse response (FIR) filter and decompose the filter computation into M sub-filters, where M = N/L, N is the filter length and L is the block-size. Each sub-filter acts like a short-length BLMS FIR filter of size L. The proposed decomposition scheme favors timemultiplexing the filtering com...
متن کاملMultichannel active noise control algorithms using inverse filters
1.0 Introduction For active noise control (ANC) systems, a common approach is to use adaptive FIR filters trained with the filtered-x LMS algorithm [1], for both feedforward systems and Internal Model Control (IMC) feedback systems, in monochannel or multichannel systems. Variations of the algorithm sometimes called the modified filtered-x LMS algorithm have been published [2], which can achiev...

Software Defined Radio (SDR) is a technology that enables re-configurable system architectures for wireless networks and user terminals. A multitude of wireless communication services and algorithms can be supported by the same infrastructure design. The choice of platforms and product family will have a major impact on power consumption, cost, radio data rates, and system flexibility. Field pr...
